MXF file views > Metadata

This view shows descriptive metadata items that are in the file.

It expects that the metadata should be in one of two forms:

1.Using the standard Framework/metadata set structure.

2.Embedded XML documents.

If MXFixer detects a descriptive metadata framework then it will search all Packages in order to find any entries within that framework and display them in a tree structure.

Any XML documents are then shown in their own frame. These XML documents can have any data structure within them and thus cannot be automatically interpreted further.
