The Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA) was founded in 2000 to foster the
implementation of AAF and MXF workflows. Metaglue has been involved with the AAF
Association since the beginning and contributes to the specification and the reference software.
The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) develops and maintains formal

AAF Association and assisted SMPTE with the preparation of the formal standards.

using custom and commercial tools from MOG Solutions.

which provides a comprehensive introduction and guide to a range of file
formats used in professional production, including AAF, MXF, ASF and Quicktime.
